For the Building Virtual Worlds class, I served as programmer on all teams. Each project lasted between one and three weeks, and was done with teams of four to five. At the end of the semester, the students put on a showcase of selected worlds for friends, family, students, and industry guests.
Round 0 - Bunny Bunanza
Round 0 is the first assignment, and as such, is very simple. Each student received a discipline (2D art, 3D modeling, programming, or sound design) and was given four days to complete a project. Programmers had to implement a simple game.
Bunny Bunanza is a simple two player game based on the idea of multiplying rabbits. Players control a rabbit trying to touch white rabbits to convert them to their color. After changing color, the rabbit spawns two new, smaller rabbits. The player with the most rabbits when time runs out is the winner.
Round 1 - Last Stop on the H Line
Round 1 was the first team assignment of the semester
Round 2 - Ghost Story
